Alright, so recently I was asked by a leader from another LS who I will keep anonymous for now about how I felt about the community as a whole.
Some of you may, or may not know, about the RPC, the Roleplaying Coalition. This is a community that was formed before the game was even released. Many linkshells were formed before anyone ever saw a character creation screen. But, as of late, the RPC has been falling apart, dragging the community down with it. Surely you've noticed that other linkshells simply do not participate in group events. They're content with being self-limiting. I could go on and on and on and on, but that's not the point of this post. I already stated my opinion to the community heads. We'll see if anything changes. What Iwant to know, is how everyone in the crew feels about where the community is headed, what they want to see, what they feel really needs to change, etc, etc. So, go for it. I don't want to vouch for the crew without hearing everyone out.

Hello, everyone! A while ago I started hearing concerns about the state of the Besaid roleplaying community, so I decided to go around talking to RP linkshell leaders to see exactly what they thought about things and what might be done about it. After gathering up as many opinions as I could, I put together a post outlining what people thought of how things are going, and what, if anything, ought to be done to encourage RP. If you have an interest in the future of community-wide roleplaying in Besaid, I encourage you to check out the following thread on the RPC, though I will warn you - it's pretty darn long so piece through it when you have a bit of time to go over it. Discussion ThreadReading through the debates after the initial four posts is of course up to you, but I'd like to encourage everyone to read through the original postings and share your thoughts, however terse or verbose, on the direction we as a community ought to be taking to encourage more interaction among the community. To clear up any possible misconceptions, no, I'm not with the RPC - I am head of AETHER but mostly I'm just a fellow RPer seeing what I can do to get as many people having fun as possible. Isn't that the point of roleplay?

Thanks for linking me to it Verence. I'll pick through it and add my two cents if necessary. I encourage my members to do similar. I will not represent AOD- only myself.
